codpiece
Great news regarding the return of Tom Williams from U.S.A. as player coach.Would this mean Searsy is surplus to requirement ? http://www.evostikleaguesouthern.co.uk/dual-role-for-returning-rebel-33951? GlenSTFC
I'd be surprised if we keep 2 player coaches in the medium to long term as it's not viable especially when you add in the 3 other coaches (managers and Trent), would be luxury and expense to have 5 coaches at this level unless of course some aren't being paid. Alan Greenaway
As well as Tom Williams living close to the ground I understand Searsy is also fairly local. It would be great if they could also get involved with the Academy and under 18 sides and also work on behalf of Slough FC in the local community
Neil Baker
None of us are full time, all have jobs/families etc, and some do not get paid a penny for their time with Slough, much like a number of the volunteers who help the club. We all do what we can... but their commitments will stop with the first team at this stage I am afraid. In terms of Searsy, both him and Tom will help us out, both in very different ways. There is no extravagance and you have to realise that people sometimes just want to be involved with a successful club.
Alan Greenaway
Thank Neil Just getting a bit carried away with the possibilities. It is great that people want to be involved with STFC and give back some of their experience to the younger members of the team.
