For the bloke on the bus who asked me about pubs in Stansted, the one in the Good Beer Guide which is near the station is the Queen's Head. As you come out of the station you are looking almost straight at it. If anyone else is thinking of going there, children are not admitted unless the beer garden is open, which it won't be at this time of the year.

 

On Saturday 27, trains to Stansted Mountfitchet leave Liverpool Street at 49 mins past the hour (direct) or on the hour (change at Bishop's Stortford) and Tottenham Hale at 3 mins past (direct) or 11 mins past (change) if you are going by public transport.
