Hertford Town 7 Colney Heath 0

Horace is back after several year's break. Now freed of County FA impartiality, I'm a Hertford fan again!

This was a near perfect performance, with SIX different scorers, and suggests that its not all over yet re London Colney! The two games between the clubs will be real 6 pointers!

Colney Heath were off the back of a couple of wins and were lifted to see that Hertford were missing FIVE regulars, including the two central defenders Draper and Lovell. Manager Kelsey really does have a selection problem now. How do you drop anyone from a side that won 7-0? All the "replacements" were superb.

Heath were lucky to get 0. They still had 11 men at the end and conceded no penalties (couldn't get near enough to tackle anyone in the box!).

Pitch was superb, despite all day rain. Really has gone from one of the  worst in the league to one of the best, thanks to fantastic work going on at the club these days. And 185 spectators turned up on a miserable afternoon.  Serve up quality stuff on a good pitch, sell them good beer and burgers and they'll turn up. The atmosphere is tremendous at The Park these days.

No disrespect but Colney Heath were woeful against Welwyn....they have no threats throughout the team...so i wouldnt get too excited...although i agree the Top of the table clash will certainly be interesting.
