6 missing! Nis and Webby suspended, Lee Barney, Gav James and Hicksy all injured and Brad we found out last night at training was unavailable due to work, leaving us with only one fit centre half and not enough time to get anyone else in.

We will have to do it the hard way no doubt, however we are in confident in what we are going with, though will need all the Rebels fans that make the journey to get right behind the lads!!! COYR

Great comeback both sides wasteful Until a few seasons ago watching the Rebels go two down gave you that sinking feeling and not much hope of a comeback Now at two down you really expect that the comeback will be on its way Once again confirmation of the strength in depth of the squad.

RR with both sides wanting to play you would not of realised there was a ref on the field as the game was allowed to flow as been said.

But as always when you say the ref is having a good game then mistakes take over but overall for me I thought she had a good game.

First time in a number of games where we started on the front foot had a couple of good chances to score also hitting the post but then Merthyr took over there second was well taken from very good build up play.

The second half we nearly scored early on and then took over and once we got the 1st we were then on top.

When we got the free kick and Dobbo lined it up I said it would be 2-2.

There fans in the pub before the game were superb another great day out.

The replay should be very entertaining with a bigger gate than 370.

SRJ all the other fans were all glamed up on the train going to Cardiff to watch the Rugby.

 

COYREBELS Let's get in the next round.

The Merthyr fans forum now has a very fair and amusing report on the game We are dubbed the " Rebels without a pause" because we didnt stop playing and trying for 90 mins IMO we should be confident for the replay We will have injured/suspended players back Merthyr have a poor away record and its them who have to get to Slough from Merthyr on a Tuesday evening
