Horley Town 2 Bedfont Sports 1

Great game of football with both teams playing some very good football, Horley the better side in the first half and went one nil up through Richard Wetton. Second half Bedfont were the better side but both teams kept playing the football and going from end to end, in the 90th minute Bedfont got the equalizer and everybody thought that was it but a great run from Alex Barbary in the last minute of extra time saw Town score the winner there was even time for the same player to hit the upright a few second later! A most enjoyable game off football between two side playing good football, good to have a chat with the ex Hanworth keeper Buss as well.

How your player managed to hit the post and not score your third goal I do not know.

Obviously didn't matter as far as the result went.

As you say, an enjoyable game where perhaps a draw would have been a fair result

Following my moan about AC London last week, I'd like to praise another newcomer who are groundsharing, Balham FC.

Whilst I haven't been to one of their home matches yet, the way the entire club represented themselves at both of our home games has been a credit to them and an example to clubs wishing to progress.  I didn't get the chance to discuss their ground aspirations properly but they seem to have got everything else right so that will probably come good too.

Nice to see positive praise on here, Jeff.
