15th November v MK Dons AND Northwood

Ambitious plan, hopefully that replays don't mess with it.

Can't imagine Northwood will be too happy with what will probably just be a few travelling fans though.

Really glad you're trying to keep the Stratford game on the 22nd, I've already booked the time off and a cheap train ticket!

Do you think any supporters will be going to Northwood when we are at home on the same night against Mk Dons?

I'm expecting two Rebels Radio commentaries and two twitter updates that night!

Roy

there is only one set of equipment for rebels radio so only one match could be covered. But usually the B&B and League cup matches are not covered as rebels radio has a limited amount of internet data to use per month and since these matches are of low importance they get sacrificed to make sure there is enough data to cover the league matches.

Given a choice, I would rather win the B&B game if only for the reason that we have the chance of playing Maidenhead in the semis if they can get past Marlow.

As you say Glen, with a decent crowd expected against MK Dons I think this game, and it's only my opinion, takes priority over the Northwood game.

A good point about a possible Maidenhead meet up but would either of the sides want

such a big game given the importance this season of trying for the league title.

Also surely we should weigh up what Cup is better financially to win?

Is either worth anything, other than home ticket sales?

Neither cup is financially worth winning but the home game against MK Dons should pull in a decent crowd with not only the benefit of ticket sales but again a chance to put on a good display with the possible benefit of attracting and keeping new supporters coming to Arbour Park. This is the main reason why I think we should play our strongest side again MK Dons.

Just so you know the MK Dons game on the 15th is now off, as they have a FA Youth Cup game which takes priority, so for those who did not want to miss the Northwood game, you will be pleased to know that we will be playing them only on the 15th, the MK Dons game is to be rescheduled.

Well, to be fair to Northwood, that will mean the gate will be better now than it would have been. A bit insulting if we turn out a second string with no supporters, in the same vein that MK Dons will do to us.

Whatever, it's time we won the B&B, how many years since the last time?! Was it the one staged at Aylesbury Utd.'s previous old ground (not Buckingham Road) circa 1981?
