How about this one!

According to the holmer green and Edgware Twitter accounts the game was postponed because ........

"A fan was moaning at the ref. Not swearing or being abusive. Simply moaning about decisions"

 

Wow. Surely this ref should never ref this level again???

PTG care to comment???

 

Not there to witness the incident.

 

If it was just 'moaning' as you say then I am surprised it was abandoned but you would have to wait for the Referees report to see what it says.

 

A Club will surely have a misconduct charge levied against them if as you say the game was abandoned due to 'comments' made by a spectator.

Have spoken to the secretary of the club as was desperate to find out.

 

It was purely comments made to the referee. No abuse or swearing whatsoever.

 

That is absolutely ridiculous. All expenses should be covered by the league.

 

Secretary also said the ref stated to both captains when he did the toss that he wasn't in the mood and wanted a fun game with no aggro.

Back to the football. London Colney go marching on. Berko again flatter to deceive, losing 1-0 to a team that lost 9-2 last time out. Bet a certain M.Vipond is taking no blame. Hertford hanging in there but 17 points adrift with 5 games in hand, big task. Have Wembley improved that much from last season ?? Are WGC finally settling down ??

 

Still a long way to go.

Crazy stuff :unsure:

 

Holmer Green FC legend Dean Allen has returned to Holmer Green FC to get some match fitness as he has been out injured for over 6 weeks now so hope to see him back at Hanwell Town FC soon.

 

Lets hope Dean Allens next game for Holmer Green FC is not abandoned after 12 mins by the ref or he will never get match fit ;)
