The League should not have 'upset' Mick Ewen which led to his resignation. Many referees were 'loyal' to Mick - rather than the League - which means there are not enough to go around!!

Happened just as frequently last year. Although at least now with Mick Ewen not around the league are able to use full time to its full extent so we are aware much earlier that last season.

Maybe it's the £25 fee, which officials can also get by refereeing a thirty-five minute U13 game on a Sunday morning?

As I understand it, the 'basic' AR's fee is £25, and is the for AR's only payment if they are given a lift to the ground as is required, if possible. Perhaps PTG can confirm?

 

 

That is correct.

 

For Development games it is £23.

According to the holmer green and Edgware Twitter accounts the game was postponed because ........

"A fan was moaning at the ref. Not swearing or being abusive. Simply moaning about decisions"

Wow. Surely this ref should never ref this level again???

ref got told he was a joke by fan and walked off

Let's hope this ref never makes it to the professional game. Wouldn't get a game completed if they walk off after a bit of verbal from the stands!

Definatly must be some underlying factor as ref totally lost the plot over something that goes on every week only tens times worse. Couldnt believe what we were seeing.long trip for nothing lol and gotta do it again lol.

don't forget the money it cost but fair play to holmer green they said rearranged game will be free entry to fans
