I'm thinking that 80 points will probably make the play-offs...... as far as winning the league, probably a minimum of 92 points but 100+ could be required the way that us, Chippenham and Leamington have started the season.

At the start of the season I would have been delighted if we made the play-offs, and still would be.

looking at the average amount of points needed to win the league, get in the play offs and avoid relegation over the last five years.

Win the league - 99 points

Play offs - 81 points

Avoid relegation - 43 points

(not every season had 24 teams in the league so this is based on points per game x 46)

Last year was

Win the league - 93 points

Play offs - 81 points

Avoid Play offs - 44 points

we are currently on 38 points so nearly safe of relegation, if we carry on with our current points per game we would finish on 109 points b of course a lot could happen and change between now and the end of the season

Since I last looked Chippenham have joined the leading group on the final prediction league Reads a bit like fantasy football at the moment since as Curtis pointed out several teams have started so well the projected winners (Leamington) are on 120 points Slough on 107 Chippenham on 100 and Merthyr 96 Dont think totals that high are likely but it certainly seems that we have a handful of outstanding teams this season Anyway at this stage the prediction league is not to be taken seriously but as the season develops and the weekly results are fed in it does become very accurate
