B&B cup 2016/17

Recommended Posts

First round vs Beaconsfield SYCOB, winner is home to MK Dons.

Entry - £5 Adult

£3 Concession

£1 Children

This will be our first EVER game against SYCOB in SLOUGH !!!

Beaconsfield had 495 people at their FA Cup this weekend, would be amazing if we could beat that though for a B&B match it might be optimistic.

Our first B&B match last season at home to Burnham drew just 91 spectators so surely we will at least beat that.

Fairly confident we will win tomorrow but it will be a good chance to rotate the squad again and possibly give a few of the academy players a chance again.

Good fun game and a crowd bigger than every league game tonight bar one. We are certainly offering value for money ; come and see us in the league for close exiting games, just 4 goals in the last 3 games. ; see us in the cup for goals , 38 in 5 games.

Good to see Putts back so soon. Hoping that Gary is OK.

Great nights entertainment and value for money!

We started like a house on fire for the first 25 minutes, played some great football and scored 3 excellent goals.

We then proceeded to give SYCOB a leg up, surrendering the lead by gifting them 3 goals through individual errors.

Second half started fairly evenly but we gradually got on top to put the game to bed scoring another 4 goals interspersed with an own goal for SYCOB.

Credit to SYCOB for not giving up and continuing to play some good football.

All in all an excellent nights entertainment and a very good attendance.

The last goal Sean Fraser scored I think was the winner against Burnham a few seasons back when he was on his knees on the goal line heading the ball in the net.

Last night he's hit a top corner screamer from way out, versatility of the man

Fairly sure it was to equalise 2-2 but yes that was his only other goal

Probably in a way did us good having a much more competitive game than it looked like being after 20 minutes.

Managed to get good game time for some who haven't been playing much and rest 4 or 5.

Shame for Gary but good if only a few weeks out as he could turn out to be a handy player for us this season even if from bench majority of the time

Hopefully Gary is not too bad, think he has just gone over on his ankle, maybe 2/3 weeks max.... Scorers were Dobbo x 3, Puts, Togs, Charlie Moone and Sean Fraser.

Do you think we are picking up a lot of these injuries through the pitch?
