hi domm and all good to see us 4th sneaking up the league a bit. busy getting those family things wrapped today.

We got a 'get out of jail card' last night, but fair play to Slough players for fighting on till the end against quite a solid Ashford defence.

Booty doesn't seem to care as much this season which is probably why people get on his back, in comparison to say Matty Miller whose always hassling and chasing. But Booty's reaction showed maybe he does care - it will be up to all of us to get behind the team to spur them all on against Windsor. Just remember how we played against Lewes.

On another note, i do get a bit sick of all the stick refs and linesman get, especially last night. OK we all reckoned it was a penalty, but i think Hodge goes down too easily. Later on Ashford reckoned they had a penalty, which evened it out. A good comment in non league paper the other week was one ref saying if they make wrong decisions, what about all the wrong decisions players make throughout the game. Some might be crap but could we do any better? There's already a shortage of officials - why let our abuse make it even worse?

The banter i prefer is when we are having a laugh against other supporters such as Lewes, even Marlow. Although prats like the Windsor fan laughing at us being homeless ain't that impressive. What do they want - Slough to cease to exist? If they answer yes to this, then to me they haven't got a clue about what the non league game is all about. I love the football, but also meeting up with everyone, having a beer and a laugh is also half the fun (sitting on trains isn't so good, especially if we've lost.) That's why the stadium at Britwell is so important, and why we all need to get behind the Trust to make it happen.

hi brighton rebel dave here sorry i seamed a bit unsocial its just i got delayed by public transport and busy tight turnstyles with progames sold out before kick off. normally i would have time for a drink in the bar but had to wait until half time but as on anther thread i managed to get one from the board room and speak to mr merryweather and be known jokingly as the riff raff. i am mr slough reble now late running slough town programe seller santa fellow. take care and happy birthday i wwould love you to have a programe as you have given me some bits and pieces in the past from your neck of the woods. oh yes and it would be nice to get are own ground somewhare

hi domm dave here. i have worked out there are very few if any local games on the saturday and feel that depending on the weather and the like i fancey ashford v staines on the 27th. i think one or two other slough town fanas could easily turn up for this one if reasonable weather. i would be put off by this if bad weather but are you up for this. i think it is an extra game and a chalenge. i thought i would have a dart round parts of london with a trusty travelcard possibly and get some free sights in or winter early january sales in some of the big shops . however i think i would be restricted to what i do and spend. i fancey going to the pub in long lane .not sure the name to get food and refreshments early and down to the ground for a quick half and one or two of ther rolls for half time and on the way home unsure yet. post me back on here if you are free and fancy the game up there being reminded if you want a programe and a cup of drinkable coffee and don.t whant to que up everywhere again like i was forced to after havey delays getting to the ground late. i think on a saturday it should be much easer and getting home not a reel problem cheers domm.

hi domm maidenhead hayes looks good perhaps your call. that one looks the closest to me from burnham so how about you trains are near normal satuday service or lifts for yourself and i. i could evon walk of the turkey left overs. this is one you mentioed i belive.
