Quick question. We were 5 points clear before this match, and only having drawn 1 game. The Southern League Website is now showing us as 4 points clear, with a game in hand, having drawn 2 games. Am I right, or is the Southern league right?

Not much cover at Dunstable, correct, but I didn't think it was horrible, try AFC Hayes for comparison.

 

Doubt we'll get their biggest attendance of the season tonight, but for sure there will be at least as many of us as them.

Good result again. May not have been a classic but was a classic example of a game that you need to win but often don't when things are against you. At the moment we seem to continue to defy the football laws of gravity. The loss of Putts and Stonehouse should have upset us. Instead Smart and Jackman came on and Fraser moved to left back . All of them excelled in the positions they were asked to play , the first two linking well down the right and holding the ball up when needed.

A real gritty determined performance tonight. Yes not many clear cut chances but we're always capable of scoring. With Puts injury and Gav and Lee not quite ready we could be pretty light forward wise on Saturday. Wouldn't be worried about the Beconsfield SYCOB match but away to Merthyr could be another tight game.

Fairly even first half but I thought we were much the better side in the second half, playing all the football with Dunstable relying heavily on the long ball.

 

Good performances all round but have to mention the shift put in by Warren Harris.

 

He was truly exceptional tonight with his all round performance, effort and work rate, IMO it was possibly his best game in a Rebels shirt for a very long time.

Warren Harris was very good too in the 4-0 against Redditch a month ago. Many people thought then it was his best game for Slough, he scored 2 and was man of the match.
