HAS SANTA BEEN TO BASILDON ALREADY ?

Recommended Posts

The mystery of Basildon United's missing football kit deepened (writes tonights Evening Echo ) after it was RETURNED - WASHED AND IRONED !

Following an appeal in the Echo , the new green and white kits were returned to the club on Saturday. In fact the kit was cleaner than when it mysteriously disappeared on November 14th. I put it to you Mr Jenkins and Co - this is magic publicity befitting the time of year.. I wish you well !

If you were a company you might fall foul of the new laundering laws! Oops better stop there!

The kit is ready and clean and ready for the New challenge ahead. GB cup , Cherry Red, Lge cup, some other cup and the league, anyone want a bet?

See you at "Capershotts" at the end of January. From what I saw in the first leg of the League Cup, I fancy the Abbotts to turn it around on home soil. <img src="/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" />
