Slough v Dartford

Game of Throw-ins

You gotta luv the FA

Just seen the alcohol restrictions on the club website for tomorrow. Means no half time beer and drink up by 2.45 . It says we will be closely monitorred by them !, Well thank goodness they have got their priorities right. After all it's not as if they should be monitoring their employees offering advice on how to break the rules or getting suspicious payments as they have got journalists to do that job for them As long as non-league fans don't have half a shandy at 3.01pm we can all sleep safe in our beds. Anyone fancy being the England manager for October .

Personally think the alcohol restriction is a very good thing!!!

I'm not a fan of drinking alcohol at football matches, but have nothing against others drinking. Problem gets when people come to football and drink too much and become obnoxious and ruin the whole experience for others around them.

Restricting alcohol sale during the match to those pitchside is good. You still have a chance to drink before and after the match with everyone and have a laugh but also have a break during the match and not get carried away.

RR I did make it clear that I Had watched a number of other clips and at no time said they werent useful It will come down to who turns up on the day If we play as we did against Leamington and they play as they did against Concord we will progress but who knows? I dont think its helpful to be talking up opposition teams we need to keep the confidence in the squad up and a number read this forum Its true they are one level higher but our squad would be comfortable a level higher imo

Irish, by saying the opposition look useful in no way should dent our players confidence, in fact it should do the opposite and spur our players on. Conversely, by 'bigging up' our chances could well spur the opposition on.

Gutted to be missing this game -on holiday in phoenix ( temp approx 95F ( hope you do not get the rain forecast. We are 8hrs behind so KO is 7.00am in the morning - thank God for rebels radio and Twitter.

it will be a tough game but an opportunity to gauge how good we really are. The crowd could be the

12th man and could influence the game. Plenty of noise required even if we are under pressure.

Hope this is 3rd time lucky against them.COYR.

PS Dave C could you ask O!lie to save me a programme?

£7,500 up for grabs to the winners today. If we were to win I think that would take us up to £15,000 in prize money total (plus gate receipts).

With both teams unbeaten in their last six matches it will be tough. We have been doing really well though and only conceded 2 goals in the last month, one a penalty and the other an own goal.

I am quietly confident we will win this one but won't be too disappointed if we lose, unless the game turns into a repeat of the Banbury game earlier in the season.

Lost 3-2 with Dobson scoring a penalty and an own goal from a Dobson cross.

I hope the ref has a nice trip home to Dartford. He and his officials were a disgrace today.

We played well for most of the game and never looked outclassed at any point. Everyone kept going right to the end and you can’t fault any players effort today.

Move on now and can focus back on the league. Dunstable lost today and Leamington won so we are still 2 points clear with a game in hand at the top of the table.

Very unlucky to lose, deserved to at least draw the game and get a replay. Slough were much the better team in the first half, gave the ball away a bit too often in the second half, but like staines_rebel_Jr said we never looked outclassed at any point and the players put in a great effort. Well done Slough Town you deserved so much more for your efforts.
