Yes 10 points now between Slough and the 5th placed team (last play-off spot) About a month ago I invited all forum members to give me a credible reason why the Rebels couldnt be Champions this year Not one member did and I dont expect anyone to do so now If this squad can be kept together the play-offs should be a minimum target imo

Thought we really ground out that result. Leamington started brightly but I thought we dug in and worked our way back in to the game. Dobson was excellent, some superb crossing and a great free kick to seal the win. Gavin James is such a tireless runner and good leader of the line.

Thought we defended well as a unit and the clean sheet was well deserved. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. COYR

Top of the table by 3 points and +8 goal difference on second place.

Leamington where by far the best team we have played this season but we lived with them and limited their chances to long range efforts. We didn't create a huge amount ourselves but we were clinical in front of goal and came away with a deserved win.

With the changes made to the starting eleven and with players playing out of position we did seem to lose a little bit of our attacking threat but defensively we were solid as we have been all season.

7 clean sheets in 11 league matches with only 5 conceded, we have the best defence in the league.

It seems strange but feels so good to say - WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!!

Thanks for the positive words Stan, much appreciated.

Always interesting to see the views of the "armchair managers" as there are so many different opinions which is what makes the game so interesting. From our point of view with the squad we have this season it's just great that we have different options.

You'll just have to wait until around 7.45 tonight to find out what we've gone with and hopefully we get it right!

Hopefully.? Never in doubt, hits the spot again !!

Certainly our toughest match so far but we dug in, took our chances, defended brilliantly (especially Mark Scott) and got a deserved win. No one could ever had predicted this start but so happy to see it. We go into Saturday's game as underdogs with no pressure but feeling confident of an upset. Sorry Sue but I need to talk figures, superb attendance for a midweek game (more than I expected) so hoping for around 1,000 v Dartford.

As been said superb performance from the team digging in when it mattered as well as playing attractive football.

Well done Guy and Dan they slot back into the team after a few games out and you would not know Scotty must be purring with the defence in front of him.

The pitch looks to have a real spring to it as all the players are winning a high percentage of headers.

What a night. Where do you start?

9 straight wins and 11 unbeaten in all competitions

Haven't conceded a league goal since the first ten minutes of the homecoming game (nearly 5 league games ago)

Moved up to second in the average attendances for the league

687 attendance on a Tuesday night, when did that last happen for a league game?

Top by 3 points so we'll be top for 10 days barring some kind of massive scoreline, with the best defence, goal difference and joint best attack in the league.

Last night the team were excellent after a bit of a shaky start, especially given we had to change things around before and during the game. It wasn't a game of many chances as both teams defended well but we took the chances when they came.

We really are seeing something special from this squad at the moment.

Was a close game but ultimately we took the two chances which fell our way, even if the free kick awarded before Dobbo's goal didn't like anything like a foul. There were a few balls flashed across the face of goal but can't recall their keeper having to make too many saves but likewise said for Scotty. Might need to address the opening five minutes as Biggleswade was similar.

Better support from Slough once we'd gone in front, but it all needs people to join in as well as starting the chant.Great numbers last night and hope to see this trend continue for the next home league game. Dartford should be a very well attended game anyway, or at least you'd hope so.

Excellent performance and 3 points against a very good Leamington team.

I think last night was a prime example of why we are currently top of the league. We are playing some really good football, taking our chances when they come and at the same time we have players who can dig in and scrap for the ball when we are under pressure.

A great team effort tonight and again very difficult to name a MOTM.

Fantastic result for us last night and one which we had to battle hard for. I can't speak highly enough of the squad of players and the managers for putting together this run - 11 on the trot is incredible at any level. Very much a squad effort too.

I invited half a dozen young Asian lads from our warehouse last night and they are all asking me about season tickets this morning. In fact, waiting for a lift after the game it was amazing how many people that used to go, or people I knew from my youth were at the game.

This season is turning into something special and is exceeding my expectations on and off the pitch. Let's hope we can continue in the FA Cup on Saturday. COYR!

In Gary's photo's it looks like the player was just about to take Warren's leg away, so not sure it wasn't a free kick.
