Rebel Kay
It is with great sadness that we have to advise that Keith passed away over the weekend. Keith was one of the great characters of Slough Town and will be greatly missed. So pleased he made it to the first game at Arbour Park Our thoughts are with Jean and the family. Reading Rebel
Very sad news. Stan
So sad to hear. Keith was not only a great servant to the club he was a great servant to the town. If there was an event on in Slough you would usually see him volunteering at a stall, showing kids how to make bird boxes or drumming up help to transform Herschel Park. Even if you did not think you knew him you probably did. We need more people like Keith not less.

grandad
So glad he got to see the first game at the new ground. Our families go back a long way, Keith's Father-in-Law was a good friend of my Grandfather. Keith and Jean were very supportive of our family when my Father died back in 1986, and showed kindnesses that I still remember now 30 years on. That was the measure of the man. A friendly, kind hearted and knowledgeable man who will be sorely missed. Much love to Jean, Lucy, Nick and the rest of the family.
David Carpenter
Very sad news indeed. Firstly to Jean and family deep condolences. I saw Keith and had a chat with him at the Hayes game. Known him for years and he will be sorely missed not only at Slough Town FC but as Stan stated in his post throughout the town. Looking at the website Keith Smith is tomorrow's match sponsor so doubly poignant.

Stuntman Mark
Very sad news. I would often bump into Keith on my way to work walking his dog or volunteering at Herschel Park. He would more often than not make me late for work banging on about the Rebels in the way he did. A lovely bloke who was Slough through and through. RIP. Rebel Kay
About 15/20 of us attended Keith's funeral last week. We thought that it would be a nice idea to do a collection to make a donation to the Thames Valley Hospice in Keith's name from Slough Town supporters as requested by Keith's family rather than flowers. We will do a bucket collection before/after the Beaconsfield game tomorrow night, so please give generously.
