manurgrate
A breeze in the park in more than one respect. Our boys overcame a surprisingly strong wind and Arlesey in the first half with an excellent goal from Max Webb with Jack Beadle adding the second having been given half the length of the pitch to run into after some slack defending by Arlesey. After the break, the home team showed more determination and only a brilliant goal line clearance from Bayley prevented the home side reducing the deficit. After Mark Bitmead added the third, it was just a matter of how many we scored. Lots of chances went begging, 3-0 did not reflect the play, it was more a 6-0 game. All the players were excellent, it would be difficult to choose an MOM.
B378
At times our passing game was a joy to watch. We should've had 6, Arlesey keeper I thought had a very good game and kept the scoreline to just the 3.
