David Carpenter
Final result P6 W6. Whilst winning is great and Alan's experience is shining through I sure he agrees that the whole ethic of the tournament is superb.Next tournament is at Oxford City at the end of October. David Carpenter
If anyone fancies coming along and supporting the Slough Town Pals as well as the marvellous work of the BOBi (Berks, Oxon and Bucks Inclusive) League the next tournament is at Oxford City FC on Sunday 30th October commencing 10-30 am and lasting approximately 4 hours. Thee are no charges for car parking or admission and the clubhouse/snackbar is normally open. There are mens teams, womens teams, boys teams and girls teams. Teams come from all over including from Milton Keynes, Northampton Town, Banbury, Reading, Oxford, Marlow as well as the PALS. Take the M40 to Oxford and come off left onto the A40 following the signs to Oxford. Just past the traffic lights with the Thornhill Park and Ride on the left hand side move over to the right hand lane. At the traffic light controlled roundabout bear right then left following the A40 to Witney/Cheltenham. Keep in the left hand lane and filter left in about a mile following the signs to John Radcliffe Hospital. Turn right at the T-Junction then left into the Sports complex. Car parking is on the right hand side and then a short walk northwards to the City ground.
