FA Cup 3rd qualifying round draw

The nearest away match to us Dartford have played is Hampton and Richmond. H&R have averaged 400-500 at home but the Dartford match was 678 so probably 200-250 Dartford fans. With our game being FA Cup you might expect a few more.

Our next two matches are both home matches so if we do well in both of those we could potentially see a rise in Slough supporters if we are still top of the league, again add that it is FA cup we could get a fairly big home support.

Also assuming we don't get a replay against Dartford our next 5 matches would all be at home:

24th - Biggleswade

27th - Leamington

1st oct - Dartford (FA Cup)

4th - Ashford (league cup)

8th - Cambridge

The current capacity is 1500 ,they kept it to 1400 for the first game as it was a unknown quantity. It can clearly hold much more because it was very comfortable with 1400 with acres of space but it's the capacity of the bar/tearoom/toilets/turnstiles that counts at the moment and the volunteers to man them.

I doubt if the game will be made all-ticket. I would be surprised if we get anywhere near full capacity, we only had 472 turn up to the Chipstead game and that was next fixture directly after the opening game at Arbour Park. If Dartford bring along a good amount of fans then we might get a decent crowd of about 800-900.

Actually the current certified capacity is 1,950 but the opening game was limited to 1,400 for the reasons others have stated. Either way I very much doubt we would need to make it all-ticket but would hope for a good crowd (for me that would be 700+).

Slough have previously played Dartford in the FA Cup. The 4th Qualifying Round in the 1988-89 season, Dartford beat us 2-1 at Wexham Park. I think Slough will turn that result around this time.  :)

I recall seeing the otherwise all conquering 1980/81 side get beaten 4-1 at Watling Street in the FA Trophy.

So even when the main stand is open the capacity will remain the same? Well if the actual capacity now is just under 2,000 there's certainly no need to make it all ticket as I would hope we'd get around 1,000. That's unless the capacity is capped again.

Glen, I don't know the answer to that but would assume the capacity could be increased once Arbour Park is no longer a building site.
