On the club shop it is only showing a Car Park Permit. Before that is a £100 Season Ticket on (4/7/16).

Does that help?

But when I went to my basket for the parking ticket it had a season ticket on there which I obviously removed. As said may somehow be my fault, but just wanted to check no one else has had a similar issue.

Did mine just now and it had also re-added the season tickets I purchased for me and my boys earlier on in the summer automatically just before the final stage of checkout. Once removed and the order resubmitted, it was fine but as Marcus says above, just double check before confirming.

Good didn't think it was my mistake. Just hope no one has accidentally paid for a second season ticket.

If you know anyone who is coming to Arbour Park for the first time, please make sure they have read the information on the website about parking.  I had probably 10 cars turn up at the gates yesterday who had not read the information and got annoyed at me for not letting them park at the ground (at least one of which was rather abusive).  Some did not even want to hang around long enough to find a local space or go down to the car parks by the station (or in some cases they didn't even wait long enough to hear about it).  This includes blue badge parking, some of which I had to turn away from the car park due to the limited spaces yesterday - please make sure they contact Kay in advance prior to the day.

Unfortunately there are a lot of people not prepared to walk any distance nowadays. Where I live there is a free car park about 20/30 yards from the main road but a certain lazy element park on the double yellow lines next to the shops blocking out the sight lines for people emerging from the car park and also forcing people onto the incoming lane to the car park. Recently there was even a car parked across the bellmouth! On an earlier post we had people complaining about the short walk from the nearby bus stops. With new supporters being attracted to the club there will be some who will have not accessed the website and some who do not possess IT. Therefore it is inevitable that some people will turn up unaware of the current parking restrictions. Under these circumstances would it not be sensible to have at least one steward assisting at the gate?

As far as I know the gate should never have been open, this is because the road and area behind the stand is still classed as a building site. If the gate has been open then it is by a genuine error. I don't expect the gate to be open again until the construction company are happy that the access is safely declared ok. Hope that clears it up

Strange that it only opened once the yellow mat was placed over the grass between the playground and the gate, making it seem like that was the reason it was closed for health and safety reasons. If they consider the area behind the stand to be a construction site then why is it not cordoned off like the main stand inside the ground is?

If it is considered dangerous then health and safety has gone insane!!!

It doesn't really clear it up, because when I arrived at the car park and went to start walking round some other people said the gate had now been opened on match days, and had also been for the Dartford match and the Ashford match.

Also those (like me) who happened to leave at the final whistle were told by stewards that the gate was locked but it appears from what others have said it was open again at 5.30.

In addition, there had previously been talk of there being no access on Health and Safety grounds due to users of the car park needing to walk across about 5 yards of grass, but this area was covered with yellow matting on Saturday, presumably to overcome any concerns about anyone slipping on wet or muddy ground.

Personally I have no issue with walking around, but think if some jobsworth is having a bit of a laugh it needs to be highlighted.

At a guess the reason it's not cordoned off would be that we need access to retrieve footballs etc. Whenever I parked in the school I walked the 'long' way round as I was under the impression the gate is closed . Maybe someone from the construction company has come across the open gate and asked for it to be closed, hence the stewards, and then lack of stewards after 530 as they've gone home. Doubt the stewards have a key to lock gate that would be down to the school caretaker

That's madness, unless I have actually gone blind what isn't finished exactly in that road behind the stand? Also does anyone know the purpose of this dead end road! I thought the whole point of putting down that yellow walkway by the gate was so it could be opened permanently? No doubt down to some pointless H&S issue being implemented by jobsworths...
