The Crowing Cockerel
I'm not quite sure whether to be excited at 4 youngsters coming into the squad today, or concerned that Brad is panicking and that this might unsettled some of the hitherto more regular squad members. Tony Mendy is still a relative youngster, but has racked up a fair few clubs on his footballing CV. I read that his manager at Chalfont St Peter described him as 'having lost his way in football' at the time of joining them a year ago. He seems to be a player who will score goals, but is he going to stick it for the long haul? Fingers crossed... I like the look of Kier Dickson - despite the fact that he was with Barnet. A youngster, but he seems to have a decent left peg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S6SOvrRCcQ Jonathan Muleba seems to be another youngster who needs to get his football career back on track. I'm excited to see a quick, strong centre back coming on-board. We may only have Conor Davis for a month, but he might just be the pick of the 4 new boys. He seems to have been banging in the goals for fun for Reading. Loans like this show the benefits of building relationships with professional clubs. All in all, an exciting few weeks ahead! 4wembleyfinals
Thanks for your info CC,I look forward to reading your opinion of them once you have a chance to see them play. I'm still not fit enough to come and see for myself and I getting pretty fed up, but a win tomorrow would be great tonic. Lets hope that the break next week gives BQ a chance to bed in a new formation.
Enfield United
The signings at least look to be trying to tackle our dry spell with goals. In addition the other signings could, we hop, improve the defence if not just keep the present players on their toes. Let's hope they hit the ground running more ways than one this afternoon
The Crowing Cockerel
Half-time away to Folkestone and I see that one of the new boys has found the back of the net. The wrong net, admittedly, but from acorns......
