Hx 2 Brentwood 2

cup of tea

Massive improvement from Saturday. Brentwood looked like they were going to overpower us in the first half, good passing and a lot of pace up front. We always had a threat going forward ourselves and hit the woodwork twice. Second half, there was always a threat from Brentwood but we came increasingly into it. Think the subs made a difference. If Abs has just managed to clear the keeper at the end that would have been our goal of the season.

Well done Hornchurch , let's have more of that offensively and tighten up at the back . Good way to bounce back

well that was mad Houdini would have been proud of that awful first half but we still could have had two goals then gung ho second half very impressed with the visitors and then my MOM Abs Thompson so unlucky not to get the winning goal with a mazy dribble right at the death watching the Urchins not for the faint hearted

Great game, Brentwood were by far the best fotballing side i have seen in this division. they have pace all over the pitch and altough we hit the woodwork twice in the first half we were under the csh for most of it. What Jimmy said at half time worked a treat as we were in their faces from the off and the example was set by a very powerful performance from James Moorish, he won every tackle and was instrementle in getting us back into this game with a lovley slide rule psass to Abs who squared for Knighty to score. This was Abs Thompsons best game in a Hornchurch shirt and he was unlucky not to win it with the last kick of the game after a mazy dribble and shot that the keeper saved.
