FA cup v Chipstead

On the Slough twitter feed it states that tickets for Saturday's FA cup game v Chipstead will be available at the turnstiles.

Is this correct?

I was speaking to a committee member at Monday's game and he said that tickets can only be purchased at the ticket office before entering the ground due to no money being taken at the turnstiles.

Finished 6-1 to Slough with Slough scoring all 7 goals. Moone x2, Barney x2, Harris, Dobson (+ an own goal).

A quite easy win in the end with Chipsteads defence struggling with our attacking quality. Moone scoring very early and then doubling the lead a little later and Warren Harris capitalising on a rebound to make it 3-0 going into half time. James Dobson scored twice in the second half, one at the right end and one at the wrong end. Lee barney made to 5-1 after beating their keeper to the ball, rounding him and scoring from a tight angle. The final goal at first looked it was going to be awarded to Sean Fraser but his effort wasn't quite good enough and Lee Barney tapped the ball into an empty net to end the game 6-1

Sean Fraser will get his second goal for the club eventually.

Attendance of 472 is not too bad if you consider in the past the first FA cup game doesn't get a big crowd (Home matches, 14/15 - 230, 13/14 - 222)

Yes very comfortable today, £3,000 banked and we played some lovely one touch football. Ok Chipstead weren't great but we comprehensively brushed them aside without going through all the gears. The crowd was double what we would have got had we been playing at Holloways Park and for a first qualifying round against not attractive opponents who brought very few fans then it's s decent crowd (plus it's was around 30% higher than the average league crowd at HP this season). Hoping for a similar fixture in the next round although home to Maidenhead would be a corker!

Weymouths game against Paulton was abandoned a few minutes into the second half due to waterlogged pitch.

Lots of their fans are unhappy as at the moment they will have to pay to watch the replay of it due to the rule that refunds are only available if the game is abandoned before the second half. Though despite the match restarting for the second half it was obviously going to get abandoned.

Do Conference South clubs enter the FA cup in the next round?

Seeing as we played Conference South at the time Basingstoke in 2nd qualifying round last season I assume it must be same this

Comfortable win against an OK chipstead. Our class in final third of pitch was too much for their defence.

Not sure they produced a save of note out of Scott

Great to get the win. Let's see who we get next

Men against boys today. Rebels were just totally a class above. Very difficult too pick a MoM with all the lads playing well.

As mentioned above, a good win without really having to break too much of a sweat.

Not too sure who does the Chipstead twitter feed or which game they were watching but the comment that 6-1 was "harsh" on their team and there wasnt that much of a gulf in class must have been watching a totally different game too me. Baring in mind, i made their goalie their MoM. Without him on form it could have been double figures and the only decent shot they had came from Dobbo!

Onwards and upwards to im sure more difficult challenges ahead.
