Curtis
Only home league match against Maidenhead Utd since the 1980's was in 2000/2001 season - attendance was 726. AFC Wimbledon 2005/2006 (1,246) and 2006/2007 (839).

GarySTFC
Looking back through, it is indeed our largest since that Kidderminster game which Curtis pointed out. The only other attendances close that I can find was a Tuesday night visit from Aldershot in September 2000 which had a crowd of 1223 at Wexham Park. It's been a while since I looked at the spreadsheet we used for all the data to go into the player and opposition database on the website which I stopped updating at the end of the 10/11 season. although I'd expect we're between the 250-350 mark since I stopped. Would be good if we could eclipse some of these average attendances (league only) over the remainder of this season. 1990/91 - 1168, 91/92 - 932, 92/93 - 1242, 93/94 - 882, 94/95 - 825, 95/96 - 923, 96/97 - 1070, 97/98 - 766, 98/99 - 563, 99/2000 - 503, 00/01 - 470, 01/02 - 373, 02/03 - 350, 03/04 - 327, 04/05 - 319, 05/06 - 357, 06/07 - 271, 07/08 - 220, 08/09 - 233, 09/10 - 244, 10/11 -
Curtis
I have had a look at the impact of a new stadium back in their home had on Maidstone United. Their attendances increased from an average of 377 in 2011/2012 to 1,698 in 2012/2013, when they were in the Isthmian South..... they have subsequently gained three promotions and are now in the Conference Premier averaging about 2,400, which is what they were getting in the late 80's and early 90's in the Football League. So on the basis of this and Gary's figures maybe it is possible that with a promotion the Club could return to average attendances close to 1,000. kirk
Though Monday's attendance was nice to see it was no where near any of the top ones.I realise they will never be reach again but worth a mention. Home games against Skelmersdale,Wycombe,Pegasus, Hillingdon and Chelsea to name a few.The Wexham Park record I believe was the school boys final against Liverpool. staines_rebel_Jr
Consider most of the biggest attendances happened before a lot of the health and safety regulations and set maximum capacities were introduced.
Mark44
99/00 saw 503 as mentioned above by Gary.....For me it is realistic for the club to aim for the higherst average gate of the 21st Century this season but it may well depend on more big games, i.e. a cup run or challenging in order to keep the interest going
epicrebel
An d we capped it at 1,400 (and 1) edit We could of easily got to the 1,950 capacity.
Bernie Gogan
Kirk, you never know! Depends how well we do as a club through promotions or cup runs plus whether the ground capacity is increased by the addition of more spectator accommodation. Suspect you're right though as H&S precludes a return to those days such as the Wycombe, Skelmersdale or Pegasus games where it was almost unlimited entry. It's an interesting time for football in Slough, not just for STFC, after so many years in the wilderness. Cup finals were always at the Dolphin or Wexham Park, so hopefully these can now be accommodated at the new ground and a focus can be established for this sort of the thing within the borough ongoing. staines_rebel_Jr
Well because of our FIFA 2 star rated 3G pitch we are eligible to host international matches. Obviously we would never get the men's or women's national team but it is possible to host the youth teams.
RTyler01
When you say we are eligible, you mean Slough council. Its not Slough Fc''s ground.
