Cirencester away

Come on Kirk, you can't always say a team is weak if we win easily... St Ives haven't been rolled over as easily as we did last week and I suspect Cirencester won't be either.

I have to be honest and say I don't think the league so far has been as strong as previously but we haven't seen all

Sides or the probably top sides, however we have breezed past sides that we have struggled to beat in past so it's an extremely positive start!

What is also pleasing this season is that the substitute bench is full and that our squad has depth/talent to it.

Yes thats the difference this season Last two seasons we had a good first choice team but as soon as the inevitable injuries turned up the second string were at best adequate and sometimes woeful That may be a problem later on as we have so many excellent players who want game time and the lads may have to  introduce some sort of rotation as the season progresses and it becomes clear which teams are hot and which are not One thing Im sure of this is the best squad weve had for many seasons and great credit to Neil/Jon

Sloughboy  You make a good point   We have had comfortable wins against teams that looked poor when we played them but their other results suggest that they arent that bad  Could it be that we are much better than some perceive? We really need at least another 6/8 games before a true picture emerges Some teams that were  alleged to be the ones to watch just arent performing  Weymouth and Redditch spring to mind who have both lost 3 of their 6 games so far so I think a few dark horses may emerge as potential champions including ourselves!  Can anyone produce a persuasive argument why we cant be challenging for the league?

Too early to gauge, but a promising start. Ask me the question after 15/20 games.
