Cirencester away

Obviously I know there is loads going on in terms of excitement for the first home game etc, however first and foremost we have a game at Cirencester tomorrow, which is our only focus at the moment.

Would be great to see as many of you there as possible supporting the lads. Team news is up on the main site, but no injuries to report other than the long term Harrison Gilkes. COYR

The Gloucestershire echo has a quote from Cirencester manager Brian Hughes " Slough Town on Saturday is as hard as it gets in this league" lets hope is players have a similar lack of confidence.

I don't think it shows a lack of confidence.

It's the sort of thing that most managers will say about the opposition and is one way of getting the players fired up.

One things for certain we cannot give less than 100% because Cirencester will be pumped up to turn us over.

RR I think he was being quite honest It was a long interview where he bemoaned the fact that their opening tranche of games included so many of the perceived top teams and he especially mentioned Slough and Chippenham who they meet on Monday Privately of course Im sure he is telling his team that they have a good chance What manager wouldnt?

Also as well as the expected 3 points on Monday there is another challenge for the lads Weymouths goal at Chesham today leaves us as the only team in the division that has not conceded a goal at home Lets see how long fortress Arbour can maintain that record

Happy Days are here again !

A sell out crowd for Monday and another good win today. Credit to Bakes and Unders for delivering on getting the team up near the top of the table for the long awaited homecoming at Arbour Park.

Can't ask for better.  Our chairman must be chuffed !

Zipper-de-do dah..............

Not there (I can't make Monday either), but what an excellent win and being second going into that massive game on Monday. Obviously there will be pressure but how great would it be to turn on the style, win comfortably and be top at 5pm Monday in front of around 1,500!

You're be sorely missed Glen.

Agree wholeheartedly that we need to keep the party going with momentum by turning over Hayes and Yeading and furthering our FA Cup ambitions against Chipstead. Certainly won't be easy.
