Important travel info for Arbour Park

Recommended Posts

I'd guess once the main stand is open there will be limited number of spaces for fans (probably around 50). i wonder (and hope!) as we have this partnership with St. Joseph's we could utilise their car parking?

Shame we couldn't have used St Josephs car park for Monday's game, It might have gone some way to solving the parking problem that we have.

Just a bit of information - the planning consent allows for 102 dedicated car parking spaces for the CSF plus reciprocal use of the Lynch Hill School car park -100 spaces. So on Project completion there will be 202 spaces available. For the immediate situation there is clearly limited spaces due to the ongoing phase 2 CSF construction (and the ongoing School construction). I cannot comment on possible arrangements with St. Josephs but if lack of manpower is a reason then perhaps lack of volunteers is a better description.

I'll add that in terms of Lynch Hill. from driving past the site on Saturday, the bit of the school nearest the road looks a long way from completion so not convinced the kids will be moving in at the start of term. So potentially the car park there may not be in play for a while.School website talks about moving in Autumn 2016, but does not specify the start of term

Not really. It's a known issue when you agree to go into a site before Tur construction has finished. Plus there's no way that parking could be provided for am unknown quantity of people turning up to the first game. Any amount of parking would be reduced by the time players, officials, management and volunteers get their spaces.
