If you fancy a Bank Holiday double you can see two former CCL sides take on each other as South Park host Guernsey at WhitehallLane, 3.00 pm kick off. This fixture last season ended in a 4-4 draw.

And it was a thrilling match to watch !

I shall be at Worcester Park v Redhill on Monday morning.

(I may be doing a Redhill double as they are at Balham on Saturday at Wibbandune)!

Not strictly CCL but Slough Town open their new ground at Arbour Park on the afternoon of 29th August against Hayes & Yeading.

It might be a bit crowded, but if you can get there early enough, it could be a good choice.

Bear in mind if you fancy this game that, at present, there is no parking at the ground and on-street parking nearby is extremely limited !  Slough's website suggests parking at the train station and walking which is a good 20-30 minutes.  There is a bus route that stops right by the ground but you'd need to check the Bank holiday timetable.

Glad to see them back in their home town after years at Windsor and Beaconsfield but can't help thinking waiting just a bit longer until the ground is completely ready might have been a better idea !

Groundhoppers could take in Windsor vs Walton & Hersham at 11.30 then a short dash to Slough for a 3pm kick off.

Sounds a decent and doable double that!

The ground is only up Stoke Road so I would say more like 10-15 minutes walk from the station rather than 20-30 but I stand to be corrected

Obviously depends on how fast you walk but I'm not going to do it just to find out who's right ;)

Not sure it's a walk I'd want to do alone on a dark night either, always strikes me as a bit of a dodgy area !  :o

Windsor 0-0 Walton & Hersham

Well, with our new wonderkid Keanu Williams off to Villarreal B Team I feel a little flat to be honest. He only played about 120 minutes for us but lit the place up. Still, bloody good luck to him - big step up / great opportunity.

Today was another battling point gained but could have been all 3 if we had got on the end of 4 or 5 inviting crosses that just eluded our strikers. W&H were threatening at times but rarely created anything in front of goal.

Word up for experienced striker Kieran Knight who has filled in superbly in the centre of defence in the last 2 games.
