PLEASE MAKE THIS CLEAR

The email sent to me stated if you are a standing season ticket holder you must show it to get in which is basic.

But do you still have to buy this ticket for this game on top to get in.

As HR says, only  if you are not a season ticket holder then you must buy a ticket . Season ticket holders need only show their season ticket to gain entry to the ground.

This is a league game and is covered under your season ticket.

I read it so yes I was aware but my query was why could they not be sold for a longer period of time there, to which the answer was because no one wanted to sit there and sell them.

Are you volunteering???

OR even going to Hayes home game on the same day and sell them there???.

OR on Sunday out side Primark ??

Oh what a surprise... is it possible to ask something without being shot down for not volunteering? Personally I work full time with a young family and I don't live locally so it's not possible for me to 'volunteer', oh and on the subject of volunteering I think I've done my stint as programme editor for 10 odd years so never accuse me of not doing my part!

I'm sure we all appreciate the efforts of volunteers but why do one or two have to bash on about it and make it feel like it's a crime if you don't? Maybe some just can't accept or understand that some don't have the time or simply don't want to, but does it make them any less of a fan?

On this bit because it's all ways the same few.

It's not about being a fan it's about helping out

Yes unfortunately it is always the same few but it's because of what I just said. You know there's hundreds of other clubs out there in exactly the same position regarding volunteers? It's not everyone against Slough Town! Well I'm perfectly happy just being a fan who's not able to help out, wonder what others think...

It doesn't take much to help out, even if you've got work, kids or even a limp.

If your already coming to the game turn up just before the turnstiles open and help sell golden goal tickets or programmes then when the game starts you can go off and watch that.

Not asking to much????

edit

And when you do volunteer and do something for nothing, you can say that I done my part in making this game go ahead.

The club appreciates it.

I'm very tempted to go to the match because I always said I'd go to the first match back in Slough.  By coincidence, I'm off work on Monday and Tuesday so it is possible.  The only real problem is that it costs a lot for me to travel to London (unless I book weeks in advance) so I'm not sure.  If not then I'll definitely come down for a match in the next couple of months (because I'll be going down for a weekend in London to stay with my family at some point this year).

Really great to see Slough Town back in Slough finally after all of these years and I really hope it will help the club progress to a higher level.
