SOLD OUT - Hayes & Yeading (h) - Monday 29 August

What was the thinking behind the game being all ticket?

Personally think it could have the effect of reducing the attendance figure. Perhaps that was the idea behind it?

Have Hayes have been sent a ticket allocation?

Just to clarify, apart from staff, players etc. there will be no parking at the ground?

I'm sure there must be some people who cannot walk to the ground or get to Slough by public transport.

RR, the idea behind it being all ticket is to get people through the turnstiles as quickly as possible on the day, as we do not know how many people are going to want to come.  It could be 500, it could be 1500.  We're giving as much opportunity to buy them as we can manage with the volunteers we have (although as per the other thread, we do need more).

Hayes fans are able to buy them online and perhaps also at their home match next Saturday.

Season ticket holders fine I take it we won't be sent a seperate ticket?

No parking would be poor. Having played on the ground today I must say its lovely....

Parking and transport details etc will be communicated soon, guys this has been absolute manic for Steve etc, and there is so much that needs to be done, so please be patient.

In terms of it being all ticket, it is so the attendance can be limited, as otherwise we could have an unmanageable amount of people turn up, for what is going to be a new experience for all the volunteers etc also, who have to do the bar, turnstiles etc etc... The club want to make sure that everyone who comes to the game has a good experience and not frustrated because it took too long to get some food, drink or to get through the turnstiles...

It is going to be amazing. Played (that may be pushing it) at the ground today and the set up is fantastic. Obviously phase two to come but it is already looking great. COYR

Just a point about the seating.

Someone on the Hayes site said that their Dad is a concession and if he has to pay £13 to sit down he will not be going.

Also there are a few of our supporters who are concession season ticket holders who like/need to sit down during a game. Does the seating arrangements mean that they now cannot do this?

Sorry about all these questions but I think it's an important point for the people concerned.

Completely understand the ticketing and Steve working his ass off! He's a total ledge!

There has been an email sent out saying that season ticket holders who wish to reserve a seat should contact tickets@sloughtownfc.net with their name, contact info and season ticket number, or contact Mike tomorrow.

RR this is in hand and we realise there are certain people who need to sit down and season ticket holders who want to sit . We will be having numbered seating and these will be allocated on a basis of 'need to sit'/season tickets/ general sales. As we have limited seating we need to make sure that people who pay for a seat actually use that seat. This is an issue for the opening match as we are expecting a large crowd.

We are committed to providing seating to those of our supporters who regularly sit at Beaconsfield through age or physical needs and these people will be contacted to arrange suitable seats.

Hope this helps.

Marcus and Martin who did you play today then and more importantly who won ???

It was a 5 a side tournament with representatives from

Slough supporters (Marcus, Martin, Radders, Matt Webb, Oscar Betts and myself),

Slough town management (Neil, Jon, Betts, Jacko,mr Easterbrook and St Joseph's headmaster)

Slough Borough Council

Avarto

And Morgan Sindall.

The results didn't matter :P just that everyone had fun.

Slightly different, and not sure how many others would be interested, but would it be possible for season ticket holders to get mock tickets as a momento of the first home game.

I don't know if other ST holders would like something like this just to have a a kind of souvenir of the match other than the usual programme.

Just a small point but I put my name forward for volunteering but have heard nothing since. For personal reasons I cannot make the last game at Beaconsfield. Happy to work on the season ticket gate etc. as previously but it would be useful to know what is happening. I appreciate the enormous pressure everyone is under but I cannot help unless advised. On a separate note I am meeting up with Alan Meredith the New Slough Town PALS FC manager at Montem on Monday morning. I have transport booked for the 6 BOBi tournaments and a volunteer driver vetted and in place. COYR!
