Dulwich Hamlet v Enfield Town

Tonight Town travel over to Champion Hill to face Dulwich Hamlet, in what is potentially one of our toughest and most exciting matches of the season.

 

Both sides drew last weekend, and will be looking to chalk-up their first win of the season this evening. Last season, Hamlet were unlucky to miss out on promotion, having pipped Town by one point for the final play-off slot.

 

For us Town fans, it was a bittersweet season, yet again. However, on the plus side, we ran Dulwich close in two cracking games, in front of big crowds, and tonight we hope to give a good account of ourselves again.

 

Early days, but whatever the outcome this evening, supporters of both clubs will be hoping that their team will be up there, as leaders in the pack, as the drama ahead unfolds in the months ahead.

Of our two new forwards..Bossman put on the bench after one game.Collins not in the squad at all.This leaves me worried that neither are the answer to our need for a regular goalscorer.Hope i am wrong.

Good Evening LS, think it is too early to pass judgement. We definitely need a regular goal-scorer but, as you well know, it takes time for new players to settle in a team, and much depends on the service they receive. Collins came on very late in the game on Saturday. Don't know why he is not in the squad tonight. Maybe he is unavailable.

Seems Dulwich have had more possession, but Town have threatened on occasions. All to play for in the second half. Be nice to think we can get something from this game.

Yep, 2-1 down after 61 minutes. Carr  gets the second for Dulwich. Can we come from behind as we did on Saturday?
