Munchkin
Looking forward to our season finally starting tomorrow. Will feel strange with our home games at Stony Stratford this season, but really thankful we found a solution to remain at Step 7. Will be a tough game against a Totternhoe side with a few Buckingham Town players following their former manager.
Mingemunchingcunt
I think Ugandan striker Christopher Blunden will deliver the goods today with a brace against broxbourne who came off a back of a good result against Edgware & Oxhey jets vs Colney Heath will be a great one for the neutral I think my prediction will be both teams to score and jets to win

BigDogCol
Hertford Town earn 2-0 home derby win over suggested title rivals, Hoddy Town. Still a lot more to come from this side but looked very comfortable all day long yesterday. Solid & organised with a consistent shape all over the pitch. On we go . . . britman
I don't think anyone here is really considering Hoddesdon to be a contender after the off season shake up. Even Jonno doesn't think so. However, a lot of people are saying Hertford and WGC though. We'll see if both can handle the pressure.
OD's
London Colney could still nip in there. Great result for Edgware, as the way a certain DOF at Biggleswade United was talking after they celebrated beating us last Xmas, you wouldn't believe the target they have set themselves. Catdog Rovers
London Colney could still nip in there. "Conference in 5 years" by any chance? I've only heard that one a few hundred times. As for Hoddy's upheaval, you could say the same for Hertford. Though the early signs are that they got the better end of the deal.
jomson
Saw WGCFC lose at Stotfold today. I understand a few defenders were missing.and I felt sorry for the 6 who had a day to forget. I thought there were good individuals who haven't quite gelled as a team yet and they need to quickly if winning the league is to be a genuine possibility. I also think that the loss of last season's captain, Smith is a big one. He closed down all the space so well and was usually in exactly the right place at the right time. They don't seem to have that at the moment. I'd expect the return of Norris to liven it up. If fit he will score goals. Quite a lot of them. You'd think with all that money, their "squad of 20" would be able to deal with a few injuries.

I believe they've lost a couple of long serving players form that "squad of 20" due to it being so big.
