I don't think at any point Neil said anything about the quality of either of the sides (unless I have misread) I thought we were very good against st Neots- didn't see Banbury but from what I've heard we were incredibly unlucky. And yesterday although I didn't think we played particularly well we DID come from 2 down to win. Little confused about the negativity this soon in the season- I think the squad is stronger, yes not perfect and some cover definitely needed but all in all I think it's a good start.

The negative comments that have been made are based on the first 3 games. A conclusion has been drawn that quote "we have not played any strong sides yet". It is then pointed out that we have played Banbury who are top of the league with 3 straight wins. The response is then that it is too early to judge the strength of teams. So some inconsistency in the thought process?

I agree with DJD and others about the negativity which is emanating from certain quarters. COYR!!

I guess we should have requested the league let us play all the "big" teams early on to prove erm not exactly sure what lol

 

We have 2 wins out of 3 and deserved more in the other.

 

Since when did wins means less if they were not against the "top" sides? we play them when we play them and if anything games like Kings Langley away is the sort of ground/game we tend to have struggled a lot with in the past so fair play to the side finding a way to win

I am a bit of a glass half full man and people accused me of being negative in past at times and so haven't posted a vast amount since...

 

However, how can there be negativity about 6 from 9 with 2 of the games away from home! The game we lost being a game we dominated from looking at YouTube highlights from their website and so they would be more inclined to be slightly bias with what they show as highlights!
