PSF v Harrow Borough

Recommended Posts

I used to get fed up with being charged at Church Road, Hayes - particularly when my car got broken into whilst I was at the game which as I remember we lost!  I suppose the answer if reasonably available is to boycott the charging car parks and use local street parking. I appreciate that restricted street parking doesn't sometimes help and I guess by charging the club is effectively rationing the car parking spaces. But I understand the frustration.

Slough dominated the game for best part and ran out deserved winners. A great boost for Saturday.

Only down spot was Lewis Putman coming off early through injury, which is another blow to the cause, what with the Harrison Gilkes lay off also.

Least we've got two very capable other wingers to keep the flag flying, in Wazza and Dobbo, both of whom were very lively tonight.

A much improved performance by all our team tonight ,which bodes well for Saturday. Let's hope we can push on against St Neots and grind out our first league win !

I was impressed with the way we played tonight, we had decent front play with a real cutting edge.

Shame about lewis coming off early but other than that a good game for us although I wouldn't have called it friendly.

Really liked the performance of Simon in the centre and Gavin up front.

Roll on Saturday..

Good game to watch tonight and a good performance from the lads.

First half I thought we were much the better team and Harrow would have no complaints if we went in at the break 2 or 3 goals ahead.

Second half we started slowly but Harrow failed to capitalise on some good approach play and a couple of sloppy back passes from us.

Gradually got back into the game and in the end we ran out comfortable winners.

Stand out performances for me were Mark Nisbet, Guy Hollis and Simon Dunn.

The only real negative was the injury to Putts.

Sloughboy - got up for my normal nocturnal wee-wee so having a quick check on the forum before hopefully I nod off again. Unfortunately having had a brief chat with Super Kev when I arrived it's bad if not entirely unexpected news. Surgery is required from what I understood. I am sure the club will be issuing a fuller update. Lewis P went off with a groin strain (which had kept him out of the Fleet game) and Guy H seemed to hobble off again.  So currently not good news on the injury front and best wishes to those affected particularly Harrison but of course the others as well. A really good performance tonight with a bit of a wobble during the first part of the 2nd half. Best wishes to the Management and Players for the forthcoming season and here's hoping for a good start on Saturday. COYR!
