damn preidctive txet !!!!

An inverted player is a left footed player on the right or a right footed player on the left, which means they favour coming inside from the touchline. You can have inverted wingbacks or wingers.

An example of an inverted winger is a player like Eden Hazard.

Gilkes has played on the right TWICE so far in pre season vs Didcot and Farnborough.

It will be tough to choose who starts but I would imagine there will be a fair bit of rotation between them.

One question I would have though for Neil and Jon is if we are playing with much more attacking wing backs in Jackmsn and especially Stonehouse, why don't we use inverted wingers?

A couple of times already I've seen Stonthouse in particular push coward past Putman and pass the ball back to him on the corner of the box, free, in a great place to shoot but Puyman can't because of the poor angle he gets from his left foot position.

Both times it's been when Wazza hasn't been playing, but yes I stand corrected.

I watched SYCOB v QPR last night (3-4) and was quite impressed with the way the youngsters played, they were unlucky to lose, they also gave us a very good game, I can see them doing well this season IF they keep this team together.

They may struggle to keep any of the decent lads as they aren't paying the players at all. So any club with a few quid spare could snap them up.
