totally agree Lord...there is only one team capable of staying strong enough and fit enough with enough resources to catch Canvey and thats us...when the bad jan and feb months catch up with the other teams our strength in depth will see us through.

 

having said that...if we play like we did yesterday...we'll end up in the fcin ESL...christ what a load of crap...anyway...a couple of good performances...ollie..(again)...gav and kerringan...the rest looked half asleep...taff made a difference when he came on as did keeling...

 

vinnie will never miss an easier chance again... johny wilkinson couldn't have got that over the bar... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

 

having said that...he worked his socks off all day and the pen was quality...it would have been daylight robbery if we had sneaked off with 3 points... <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />....I'd have still been larfin'...

 

not a good day...3 hours on the M25 for the team....(they went south)...crap long balls all afternoon and lucky with a point...having said that the team needed to get the tranmere/kingstonian/westie issues out of their system and before the game I thought we might have a bad day due to those factors...unfortunately I was right

 

its done now and '[****!!****]'erley on tuesday...I'll be there...

 

one bright note from yesterday...you fans...brilliant...you outsang the hayes lot and I'm certain the better second half performance from our team was because of your noisy support...over 80 of us there so well done...great support and a long way to go in that weather and traffic...top stuff...

Top support again, from us Urchin boys and girls! Have to say, that despite the dodgy performance, poor weather and terrible traffic, another cracking day out following the Urchins. Big thank you to Andy Kania for putting up with us drunken rabble in the back of the mini bus, singing all the way home and for making an "offie" stop and a couple of pee stops!!! Cheers mate.

Traffic was terrible yesterday, we came round the North Circular in the mini bus, took us 2 hours to get there. The supporters coach took about the same, arriving just minutes before kick off, think they went round the M25 North. Whichever way you went, it looks like everyone had a long journey. Thought for one minute, some of us supporters were going to have to put our boots on, as there was no sign of the team when we arrived!

We've got them on a Tuesday night in January so that's going to be a nightmare to get to especially in the rush hour.

 

Our coach is supposedly leaving at 4.30 so hopefully we should get there in time!
