PSF v Didcot

Recommended Posts

I see Charlie Losasso played half hour for Hayes & Yeading on Sunday. Showed some nice touches for us against Didcot but for me he seems a bit of a 'luxury' player.

Hayes had a game tonight so a clue to his preferences might be if he was at training with us or playing for Hayes.

Having seen Beaconsfield quite a bit last season Losasso is a good play maker type player and would play a good attacking midfielder / #10 role. The only issue i could see was his size and he might struggle with that in our league. Would be an interesting signing if he does end up with us and give us some good options.

On 3g he ought to be a useful squad player to have, but my only reservation on this, is that we have a rather small side in the main ,and while I can accept that on 3g it's going to be a faster game, I have my doubts that our squad is going to be robust enough.

It's very early days for our squad and over the next 4 weeks of pre-season I know Bakes and Unders and co, will have our squad/first 11 up to speed, come our first league game.

On Saturday at Didcot, it was evident to see that we have assembled some excellent skilful ball players, so goals shouldn't be lacking again this season but apart from Gav James, it did appear that we were rather lightweight across the park.

Hopefully, this won't turn out to be a problem.

He came off after 30 minutes so could well have been injured.

......or not good enough for Hayes management? !
