There is currently a poster on our notice-board at work advertising the Aylesbury game.

Not another replay, Laz?

 

That's those two chaps from the Supporters Club Committee. They volunteered to change the advertising hoarding things during the last months of the reign of Buzz Lightyear. We were to play Hendon on October 26th until about Christmas as I remember.

 

Mind you. Perhaps they are painting a new slip for "Peterborough 1st XI". They should have taken down the Hoddesdon ones while waiting for the paint to dry.

 

You just can't get the staff, Laz.

It's a shame there's no one else at the club who could do this.

If you catch up with those two chaps from the Supporters Club Committee Laz, you might ask them to remove the "Wickseys Of Hull" lettering from the blue match sponsor board thing, unless that firm is sponsoring all home games at t'Park, this season, of course.

 

I imagine that the removal of the lettering requires a similar level of expertise to that required to change the name on the match advertising board things on Hatfield Road.

I'm thinking of popping over there to vandalise the place later tonight so I may well rearrange the letters to create a humorous phrase.

 

Any suggestions?
