Presuming with their membership numbers it won't be the same financial deal but every bit counts and the video and interviews are top draw. Hoping some other smaller and larger local companies decide to sponsor too.

As we are seemingly going to benefit financially, hopefully we will get a lot of companies, big and large, having sponsorship boards around the new ground.

Mind you so far, apart from a tweet, I haven't seen much in the way of promoting of advertising boards around the ground.

That's not to say there hasn't been any behind the scenes activity in this area, just haven't personally seen it.

Yes Glen, you will understand I cant talk about financial amounts etc, but the deal is a continuation in all aspects of previous years.

You can help us out there,.,.,., Go into the bosses office and ask does the company want to come on board with Slough Town coming home and do some sponsorship and get them to e-mail Paul Lillywhite at paul.lillywhite@sloughtownfc.net

Have the Club got the rights to sell all the advertising boards around the pitch at the new ground then?

If so, how many advertising spaces are there and what is the price? (it doesn't seem to appear on the Club web-site).

As it's good news week, I'd like to share a little bit of good news with my fellow forumites.

I work for BCA College at Burchetts Green, Maidenhead and today I popped into our marketing office to ask the question about advertising at the new CSF.

To my joy they said they have just done something with Maidenhead FC and would be very interested in doing some advertising i.e. perimeter board ect with us at the new CSF.

I have a name and email address which I'm going to forward to Paul Lillywhite.

I suppose the moral of the story is, if you don't ask you don't get.

If you don't ask you don't get is right. Hopefully the powers that be are identifying and contacting potential sponsors as now is as perfect a time as we going to have as a club.

I understand that that takes time and effort but we do have at least 1 person with the role for doing just that in bringing in sponsors

As I said to RR, Go and ask you never know. As you say there is 1 major person on the board doing this in his spare time as he works. WE others are helping him as much as we can. BUT WE NEED HELP. As I said before go into the boss and ask the most they can say is no, but there is a chance they also could say YES.

I'm sure like RR you'll fell great.

And RR Great News TOP  :yay:

It sounds a bit stupid and I don't mind admitting it but I never really gave it a second thought. Possibly because in the back of my mind I thought everything will be OK because we've got someone i.e. Paul Lillywhite looking after the club marketing.

Looking at it sensibly, those of us who work will more than likely have a marketing dept. and it really doesn't take a lot of effort to just go and ask the question.
