I know last year Mike took the season tickets with him to all of the friendly matches.

I didn't get to last nights training match but at Didcot Mike had a load load of tickets with him. However he told me mine amongst others was still being processed due to current demand.

Received my three through the post earlier this week. Whilst I like the card itself, we've not printed anything at all on the back of them. Would have been great for the website, 500 club, trust website or a sponsor to be printed on the back.

Reference earlier part of this thread and Alan Greenaway - now Kings Langley are at home to COYR on Saturday 13 August by which time summer hopefully will have arrived perhaps you should substitute beer and burgers with Pimms and cold salmon salad. Or perhaps not ....!

 Dave /Banny It depends on the weather!!! Pimms is only suitable if it is a nice hot day.

 

For reference there are 4 pubs within 1/2 mile of the ground. As part of my research ( haha) I will ascertain what they each have on tap and update before the game.

Bought mine about 2 weeks ago and not received. Will be unlikely to get to any preseason games so hope there's a friendly face on the turnstile for the first home game.....

Like I said it's the same practice as every season. Most tickets will be given out at pre season games or at the first games of the season.

As I also said, they are being individually printed and the second batch has not yet been collected.

 

For those talking about the marketing, what the club is doing is obviously working as I'm told that around 100 of the 210 or so season tickets sold are new, with more of least season's ones who haven't renewed yet.

Doesn't Dan give a current figure of approximately 100 new out of 210 sold thus far? Clearly final figures can only be determined once the major element of the season ticket sale is completed. There has been a major push by a certain limited number of VOLUNTEERS to publicise things around the town.

I would assume all are fans of some kind. I don't see why anyone would buy a season ticket having never been to a game before.

Not necessarily the case. I was approached last week by some one who has himself been approached by people who from what he said have never supported Slough before . I am getting some season ticket application forms to him tomorrow/Tuesday.

Is it possible to get mine sent this year please? Unlikely to get to any pre-season games and I bought one for my dad as a "gift" as well. Happy to reimburse the club the price of a stamp.

 

Alternatively, I'll be at Maidenhead Beer Festival next Friday evening if any of the committee are going.
