Season tickets

4 of us attended Langley carnival and there was a lot of interest in the new ground and several people took season ticket forms. Although the football game , through lack of space, wasn't a success the event went really well. If only 20% of those that expressed the desire to attend do then we will get some decent gates

Mike told me that it was around the 160 mark, with still a few of the existing holders to renew.

Considering we had somewhere between 120 and 130 ST holders last season, I would guess there's about 40-50 or so newbies so far.

But that is a pure guess

RR Its certainly been a fantastic offer from a supporters viewpoint but not neccesarily from the clubs viewpoint Any renewed season ticket in this offer period has lost the club £30 If most of last seasons have been renewed then the revenue is thousands down We require a reasonable number of totally new purchases to equal last seasons revenue had hopefully pull well ahead of it.

I think the point of the offer is not to make the club a stack of cash, but to reintroduce the club to the inhabitants of the town and entice them along to support the club and hopefully become regulars.

not quite true. The £30 loss only applies to Adult tickets, it is only £20 for concessions and only £5 for youth tickets. However, assuming that there are 130 renewals and 30 new supporters and you take the view that renewals = loss and new supporter = gain then the club probably need a few more new supporter purchase to draw even on the sale.

Of course there is still plenty of time before the start of the season for the club to sell full price season tickets so I'm sure the club will made a good amount of money.

As its been said the main aim of the cheaper season tickets is to entice new fans into the club which it appears to have done. Obviously it's better for the club to sell no season tickets and have 500 pay on the day rather than the other way round.

It's a no brainer if you reckon you will attend more than 10 games as you will start to save from the 11th game. I've renewed and my friend has taken one for the first time on that basis. From our point of view it also means we can afford to have a couple of pints and something to eat at the club, a win win all round I reckon.

They also seem well priced, at the higher figure for those that want to dip their toe in the Rebels first.

Then hopefully if they like what they see after a couple of games, it is still very much an advantage to purchase a ST for the remainder of the season.

So a very good enticement for those as well, once they have been to watch us

£30 saved could go towards a new club shirt, the trust, 500 club, pĺayer sponsership.

So in most cases that money will be spent helping the club.

EpiRebel I was referring to buying the season ticket for £100 before the Euro Final as stated on the Slough website.

Commpared to £130 when the Final starts for adults.

If it is more than saving £30 the extra will still be spent in one way or another by the vast majority of supporters over the season.

Last season I saw 12 home league matches, two away league matches, and six cup matches.

I don't know if that makes me a fan, supporter, or occasional follower, but I bought a season ticket and will likely see a similar number of matches this season.... it wasn't about saving money, more about helping the Club (if they get close to 175-200 season ticket holders it's a reasonable foundation to start the season from).
