nonleaguegenius
How on earth are London Tigers in the prem its a joke, their car park is a swamp, the changing rooms are poor and also the club house, the cardboard shack of a stand is atrocious. Are they staying up for another year this is the question on mine and everybody else's minds ?

the hare
Sorry to harp on about this again but heard that Hillgate are now ground sharing at Amersham Town ( promoted from 12th place in Div2 to Div 1 ??) Were they told that London Tigers ground was not good enough for them to get promotion so they have gone elsewhere ? If so by whom ?? Remembering all groundshare agreements had to be in by 31st March SOMEONE SOMEWHERE HAS HAD A CHAT... I love a good conspiracy theory Or it could all be utter rubbish but more entertaining this way. Munchkin
Hillgate weren't happy at Tigers ground I believe. It was in the minutes a few months ago when they asked to be considered for promotion.

the hare
I spent a lot of time watchinh the Hillgate team last season at the wonderful Avenue park and have had many chats with their manager. As far as I'm aware he wasn't happy at all with London Tigers. I've been there myself when the team has painted the lines on the pitch because the grounds man didn't do his job. Let's not get started on that dump they call a clubhouse. Afc Hillgate management felt that it would be disrespectful to their opposition and to the league to continue hosting teams at avenue park especially if they were to be promoted to Div1. Don't know how London tigers are going to sort there ground by the 15th of June???? Well not seen anything being done there yet will keep my eye peeled
patemondo
Looks like London Tigers are going to be allowed to stay UPDATE ON CHANGES TO THE REVISED CONSTITUTION Premier Division: London Tigers – Visit 21 June – Most deficiencies resolved but still have problem with drainage of water from car park. London Playing Fields Foundation, the Landlord, has given an undertaking to resolve the issue, but timing uncertain as involves Transport for London and re-instatement of old Pumping equipment or installation of new system. Suggested arranging for alternative ground for first two months of season.

patemondo
You press the report button. Guys lets at least try to keep things on a level. The referendum last week was bad enough without using that sort of abuse. Its supposed to be football banter.
Ginola
There seems to be a depressing lack of manners from some of those commenting on the London Tigers, and specifically their facilities. I find this to be rather offensive and certainly lacking in much spirit of sportsmanship. Not all clubs at any level will have similar facilities, and that is part of the experience. Some of you will be fortunate enough to play or train on fine pitches, and watch in cushioned from well maintained stands with comfortable bars. Others have to make do with limited or no budget, few volunteers, and inner city facilities. I have been to a few games at Avenue Park and have enjoyed the experience as much as my visits to some of the leafier bucolic locations. Although all of us on this forum are perfectly entitled to have a say or the odd rant and rave, I think some common courtesy and a recognition that sometimes if you don't have something pleasant to say, then perhaps it is better not to say anything at all, might help. I find this forum incredibly helpful, and genuinely amusing at times. I don't contribute much, but I really value the posts of the brilliant KB, The Cold End and BDC to name a few. It will be a shame if I have to leave because of a few unpleasant characters with idiotic users names and bile and vitriol rather than respect, make it a place I would rather not be. Vive la SSML. Whitley Bay
Bet when all teams turn up next season, they will not see much of a change. If this is what posters are 'upset' about, I'm a little concerned about their interpretation of 'abuse'. Why are those who are concerned not objecting about comments concerning a certain SSMFL manager, or is it not PC to defend white middle-aged males?
