Reading Rebel
In todays Windsor Express Having not read the express I'm not what they are basing their appeal on. I thought the reprieves had been confirmed by the league and Burnham were confirmed as relegated.
GlenSTFC
They got no chance! Maybe we should appeal our 17th place finish and demand promotion? They need to learn life isn't fair and just because another club got reprieved it's not automatically mean they or anyone else will.

Reading Rebel
I thought reprieves were done on how many points were accumulated on a type of league basis with the teams at the top getting reprieves and not on an historical basis.
HorshamRebel
Looks like they are doing it as another go at the league for being moved against their will last season, causing them to have a much more expensive season than originally planned, due to the extra travel, rather than stopping the relegation, as they say they are doing it more in hope than expectation. Longshot
If they had kept their financial promises to the manager at the start of the season they most likely would have finished mid table.
GarySTFC
I just can't understand what they've got to appeal against. It just doesn't make sense to me at all. Think going down will actually do them a favour and allow them to get themselves setup properly before attempting to come back up.

Just read through their alleged appeal and I don't think they've even got a case. Just sour grapes, IMHO !
Bernie Gogan
Burnham far out reached their level under Martin Stone and have been paying for it since. I agree that having been switched to S&W didn't help, but nevertheless such a massive turnover in players and managers is a recipe for disaster. They should follow Windsor's example, now a well run club playing at a sustainable level with the potential to push on without breaking the bank. Not sure Windsor will ever 'push on' if they have no intention of ever paying players except for their out of pocket expenses. Agree that perhaps Burnham should follow the Windsor model at their new level which should be sustainable with only expenses being payed.
Bernie Gogan
Should have said "potential to push on if desired"! In Windsor's case maybe they don't want to, but judging by Burnham's appeal maybe they do.
