Makes sense if he's been out of football for a while to get a pre-season in to get himself back into the game.

I thought it might be the young lad we had on loan from Reading a couple of seasons ago that was very good, I think it was Aleks Gogic... but a quick search shows him in the Fleetwood squad.

Spoke to Warro's dad at the end of 2014/15 season & indications were that he would be coming back to Slough 2015/16. Obviously that didn't happen, but he's definitely been out of football through an illness contracted during Steve Bateman's last season at Slough.

 

That makes at least a 3 season absence from regular Step 3 or 4 football.

Also once he qualified and got his job at a hospital in London, he found it hard to get the time to play and train.

Personally think this is a top signing and a real coup for our managers. A prolific striker for Hampton and no doubt clubs from premier level and above looking to sign him.

Just wondering why he was on the bench for about 20 matches last season scored a lot of his goals when on as a sub nursing an injury?? Anyone know? But yes fully fit an excellent signing

No injury at all Adrian, as mentioned in the statement, he spent a lot of last season on the bench because Alan Dowson plays one up front, and that does not really play to his strengths.
