Just an update regarding comments above.

 

Although slightly ambiguous, this site (Hampshire C.C.), probably explains the blue badge system fairly well, if you are interested.

Had to do it myself many years ago...so nothing wrong with it in my books - except it can be demoralising and low paid.
I think what Mike Dickin was insinuating [not me] is that the wardens are being instructed to catch as many vehicles as possible without considering the circumstance [i.e. funeral cars/blood donor vans/broken down vehicles, all getting tickets when they really shouldn't], a bit like endlessly stacking bean tin after bean tin which all look the same.
Or, he might just have been denegrating their intelligence as he usually does.

I must say my esteem for McDonalds workers went up a lot when i was last in Crayford. i was gagging on my Big Mac, when up pulls Mr Look-at-Me in his souped up Ford Escort with the genuine Japenese plastic stick on go faster stripes on the side, straight into the cleary marked Disabled parking bay.He swaggers to the counter and makes his order in a loud voice, whilst combing his thinning hair,and looking to see who was watching.

"When you move your car out of that parking bay" says the young lass.

"I'll only be there as long as it takes you to make my order" says Flash Harry.

"I'll make your order when you move your car" says the lass

Flash Harry raises his voice and does the eye sweep to see who is watching and says

"You are only a cretin who works here because you cannot get a job anywhere else.........make my order".

at the top of her voice the lass says"AND YOU ARE A SELFISH W* NKER".

Exit a red faced Flash Harryto a loud round of laughter and applause from the rest of the Cutomers.

Big JR, i wqas tescos yesterday, and spotted two cars without badges, in disalbed bays. Thus done what u said and blocked the in and went shopping with mum and brother, inc wheelchair. 10 mins later there was an almighty stink as boy racer wanted to get out, and told him he'll have to wait until we've finshed shopping. He theatened to phone police, i says go on then, while ur at it explain to them why ur in bay with out badge. Funny, they kept quite.

 

1-0 to the bigboybubs for standing up for his rights.
