Neil Baker
Just so you know there will be no announcement today on new signings, however we hope to only delay this until the middle/end of next week. We have had 4 verbally commit to us, though 2 of those 4 still need to do a few things their end, and once they have done this, we will announce all 4 together (though by next week it might be 5). We continue to keep busy, in what is a very busy time as managers, and have to say we are delighted with the position we find ourselves in at this stage. Can I ask Bakes, have those 4 committed 100% to sign for us?
GlenSTFC
From what has been written it says verbally committed, so I take that as no contracts have been signed more of a gentlemen's agreement and hoping there's enough trust and honesty!
Neil Baker
Can I ask Bakes, have those 4 committed 100% to sign for us? Only in they have all said they want to join and looking forward to next season, so as far as we are concerned are on board, however as mentioned 2 still need to tie up a few loose ends, hence why we are not making any announcements today
Curtis
I'm sure we couldn't afford him and he'll probably get snapped up by a Club a level higher than us, but Liam Enver-Marum has just left Basingstoke..... scored a goal every two starts at Basingstoke over more than two seasons, and would be a 30 goal a season striker at our level (will be interesting to see where he goes). From what Unders has said there is a possibility contracts could be involved.

On the Basingstoke forum, you get a mixed bag of opinions on the merits of Liam Enver Marum. Some fans think he's talent personified, others say he's lazy and only puts it in when he wants to. His scoring record speaks for itself and I would imagine he will be in hot demand, regardless of his detractors. Looking from the outside in, the comments may vary due to his playing in a successful team to the one that struggled to avoid relegation. Forwards always look good when they're in winning teams. It's harder to impress when trying to score for a team that is struggling.
Reading Rebel
I see that Scott Donnelly has left Havant and Watelooville. We can always dream but what a signing that would be!

Curtis
I remember seeing him play quite a few times for the Aldershot side that got promoted to League 2, 2007/8 (??).... I think he then moved on to Swansea. Was a fantastically skilful midfielder, great on free kicks, but was deceptive in that he never looked in fantastic shape (Gazza-esque). Reading Rebel
RR, your non league knowledge has surpassed me :-] Who's he? Experienced attacking midfielder. Has an excellent pedigree and has been H&W's top scorer for the past two seasons after signing from Wealdstone. Really can't see us signing him as I'd expect he'd be too expensive and would probably want to remain in the Conference South. My mistake, I think his previous clubs were Farnborough and Aldershot.
