Bottom Four?

I had a quick look at the table last night and at this week's fixtures and noticed we could be in the bottom four come 5PM Saturday.

 

Aylesbury are at home to someone like Billaricay and should win.

 

Braintree are away to Grays, but a draw would give them more points than us.

 

I expect we'll lose at Ford. Successive 4 goal defeats don't fill me with confidence.

Aylesbury are coming good at the right time - I think they'll make the Top 13.

 

Agree about Ford tomorrow, though hopefully it won't be by the same margin as the last two league games. <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I think Braintree will probably save our bacon this week, but you never know now that they have an ambitious new chairman.

I can't remember the last time we were in the relegation zone.

 

What a differnace a year makes, this time last year we left Ford with a point and were well unhappy (also the straw that broke the camels back with Robbo if you beleave that he was sacked due to poor performances) if we leave with a point this year we'll be rejoicing <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

On form, Ford are worse than us over the last six games. Aylesbury have only won one of the last seven, and that was against Ford so looks like a couple of six-pointers coming up. If Conf 2 gets thrown out there WILL be relegation this season. Div 1 North beckons!

Robski, how can Ford possibly be worse than us; what are there last three results? They took Port Vale to a replay and only just lost out.

Ford are top half though. A good side, and I'm surprised they didn't do better last season.

 

I tipped them for Top 5 at the beginning of the 2002/03 season!!

 

Shrewsbury - was their all-time high and all-time low both in the same season??

Laz, I was ignoring cup games. Their latest league form is:

 

D 0-0 v Hay

W 3-0 v Ket

L 1-3 v Har

L 1-3 v Can

L 0-4 v Bis

L 2-3 v Ayl

So we can look forward to something like a 1 or 2 nil defeat then. That is progress.
