I can only remember one James one - with the flower on it.

 

Oasis t-shirts in the mid-90s were seminal. They were everywhere. I had at least three!!

the James & inspiral "t'ees" were at one stage overtaking the nation, you couldnt saunter down any high street without seeing one

Well, perhaps someone could do a Google Search on Band T-shirt sales in the 90s, cos I'd be prepared to bet alot of money that Oasis sold more than Inspirals and James put together.

 

If I am proved right, I'd be interested as to why you didn't spot anybody wearing an Oasis t-shirt in the mid-90s, Jill.

Just did it and it came up with "Inspiral Carpets" in fifth place. It doesn't really say about T-shirt sales overall, and I couldn't be arsed to read it, but here's what it said...

Jill is right - Inspirals and James sold a shedload of T-shirts in the early 90s.

 

I just reckon that over the course of the 90s, Oasis sold a hell of a lot more!!

anyway they were both good bands in their own right
