Karen Browne
If you could pick the best eleven players from all clubs in this season's Division One, what would be your selection?
domcassells
I think some of the Edgeware players would feature heavily. The goals scored is frightening

Neutral
Can't think of a full team, but the following must feature: Gregson from Baldock (the taller, older one, not the one with the gob). Mario at Crawley- so good in the air. Muhlholland at Winslow- quality CB. Griggs at Risborough. Prolific from midfield. 'Che' at Chesham. Harry Hunt at Harpenden. Haven't seen Edgware, so can't comment/
RendonBodgers
No one from Crawley?? I know I was shocked myself, the keeper was a close call along with Terry Billy and the 8ft centre back they have but just haven't seen enough of them compared to rivals that took them positions. Other unlucky candidates include Danger Jim and Harry Hunt of Harpenden. Che kin to - should be Chesham 1st team but due to work commitments cant be. Gregson again another. The other 'Kingy' from Buckingham. Pablo Ardilles - Wodson Ricardo Faux-James - Hillingdon - pace Ben Long - Broadfields Craig Mckay & Glen Parry - Edgeware - just 'edged' out by the number one pick Fergal. Mullholand again yes but only half a seasons worth. Draycott - Ampthill Dean Drummond - Ampthill the unluckiest though, see him playing in that beds county final he was head and shoulders. Different gear, just cant work out why Afc Kempston released him. So many 'squad players' to pick from to get you over that championship line, without them them league wouldn't be as great as it is. Rebadiah Hongfield
Does anyone think Crawley or Edgware would compete in the prem? No to both. Crawley bottom 6, Edgware 4th-8th at best.
Slidetacklelongthrow
No to both. Crawley bottom 6, Edgware 4th-8th at best. Spoke with Crawley manager the other day, there are plans in place to help them compete in the prem next season, perhaps not top but I think at this stage they would be happy mid table. I do think Edgeware can challenge though, the money and pool of players they have to chose from in that area is outstanding.

Edgware DOES NOT pay any players....nothing whatsoever..whether that will change this season..time will tell. Yep..20 players is good at this level. But with 3 or 4 of their starting 11 set to move on... may be a struggle to secure top table in first season in prem
Opinions Opinions 433
They also have a massive home advantage. Prem teams will be shocked with how different it is playing there, fantastic facility but not what they will be used to.

RendonBodgers
edgware don't pay a penny to any player Come on G Hev , we all know the score down there. Same with numerous premier sides. All out of peoples pockets straight into the players bins, Nothing contractual or traceable. Few of us may seem dumb but we ain't dead and can't be fooled. An unnamed Chesham fullback told me the number 9/10 and wingers were receiving big bills. You telling me Glen Parry travels 3 times a week from Stevenage for free? Do me a favour.
