Another Master Quiz Question

Quite tough this week. Merci beaucoup to The Premiership on Monday which keeps restocking my statistical brain.

 

On Saturday 13th December 2003, Michael Svensson became the 17th Swede to ever score in the Premiership when he headed home against Liverpool. Can you name the other 16?

 

The only clue I will give is that (to the best of my knowledge) 6 of them are currently contracted to Premiership clubs. (And I have no idea who one of the players is!!!!!)

Tobias Linderoth (Everton) and Andreas Andersson (Newcastle) are another two. And has Marcus Allback scored for Villa yet??

Ljungberg (Arsenal), Anders Svensson (Southampton), Alexandersson (Sheffield Wednesday/Everton), Andersson (Newcastle), Brolin (Leeds/Palace), Dahlin (Blackburn, Mellberg (Villa) and Allback (Villa) are all correct although Linderoth has not scored in the Premiership, only in the League Cup for Everton. 8 out of 16 already. Halfway there. BTW, there's still one currently contracted to a Premiership club that hasn't been got yet.

 

Also, the clubs I put in brackets are the ones I remember them playing for in the Premiership, the player may not necessarily have scored for all the clubs listed and I may get some wrong. Hey, come on, even I'm not Superman! The players are definately correct though!!!!!

Nilsson, Limpar, Schwarz, Matthias Svensson and Blomqvist all correct. Johansson and Hysen are not.

 

Missing three.

 

One was on loan at Leeds last year

One played for Charlton and was a very 'crisp' finisher

The other was the one I had never heard of but he apparently played for Sheff Wed
